Satanic Black War

In Satanic Black, there are several types of war that we recognize, and recommend. Below are the types and what they entail:

Mock Wars
These are the fun ones, commonly conducted as a type of "rehearsal" should a real war break out in SB; whether it be a guild, a clan/cult, or even the entire forum as a whole. Normally, a DoW [ Declaration of War ] is not needed in cases like these. Many Mock Wars are held for entertainment and combat upgrading purposes, but terms must be set on what types of matches, attempts, inner-MW special events and whatnot, so all sides are on the same page. Mock wars are fought as an educational perspective, physically amd mentally, about the deceptions and dangers involved in wars. But be cautious, sometimes even your own side will blind side you to emerge victorious.

Solo Wars
This classification of war are generally a one one one,. mano a mano, and usually based on an undeniable animosity between both parties that must be resolved by entering into a war to kill off the best of five [ Valid kills ] from either side. These wars are fought between both combatants, under terms, reasonable and realistic at least, agreed upon by both sides of the warring combatants, under a plethora of rules set forth to be abided by. Should any of the rules, and/or terms be infracted, the Solo War is automatically nullified, no matter which party was at fault. Terms can very significantly, yet it is not advisable that the DoW is signed if the terms are not equal and fair at least, or significantly favors one side of the warring parties to an unfair advantage.

Guild Wars
This one is self-explanatory. Yet similar to solo wars, this type of war spawns from a great animosity between two guilds, and clans apply as well. Terms [ Attempts, matches, dice, rezz allowed or not, the timeframe of the war etc and this IS required! ] and rules for both sides must be fair and equal, and agreed on at the time of signing, before the DoW is turned into the Directors of War. Forfeit [ Withdrawal ] deems the guild remaining in the war as the victor by default, and one rezz lost to each member of the defaulting guild. So both commanders should really know whether they really want this or not before signing the DoW. Guild Recruiting is to be put on hold until after the war is over. The guild remaining with the most members still alive is the victor [ Winner ] of the war.

Forum-Wide Wars
Although this is a rarity, it is still likely. A DoW is required to be signed, by both forum commanders, the war directors/advisors representing each warring forum. Terms must be realistic and feasible in order to carry out a forum war, and all members of both forums must be notified of this. Forfeit [ Withdrawal ] from the war will result in the withdrawing forum to be declared the defeated through default.

Those in either one or the other party which are currently in feud must come together in meeting, and agree upon the guidelines, and rules of which how the war will exactly commence.

The time that the war will begin and how it is started must as well be agreed upon by at least three-fourths of each party as the majority overrules the minority in such matters.

The guidelines must and no less direct the rules to explain the terms of how many and of what Enhancers will be allowed, if a standard HtK [ Hits to Kill ] will be used or set a fixed number for the HtK of all participating members.

Importantly, as well both parties must decide what range of dice will be allowed to participate in this war, as most prefer dice below a certain range to be banned from War activities.

The amount of Rezzes as well as decision of what AA charter is to be used, if not both, must be made. If neutral ground is to be allowed in the war, then such must be declared in the missive sent to both parties members who wish to participate in the war, as well both parties must with no exception. Explain the difference of Mock and True war to the members if such is inquired about on the basis they do not know that in Mock War your member cannot be permanently killed.

If decision is made, by the majority for war to be mock instead of true war in gaining experience in the field, this also must include the above information to be agreed upon by no less then three-fourths of both parties involved.

After discussion has ended and decision for the guidelines is made, for the war to be valid whether Mock or not, both forums must in writing declare such to all members within their current count.
