Satanic Black Thieves

Before a Theft Attempt can be completed one must obtain a Thief Registration Number, which can be granted by the Director of Thieves. To earn a TA registration number, read the following charter and learn how SB TA's are correctly done, then send log of the Mock to the Director of Thieves for grading and if it's done correctly. You will receive a registration number. |

Acceptance Of SB TA's
|
If you are a member of SB, then you MUST accept all SB TA's, if you both the thief and the target do carry a Thief registration. If you do also carry a Thief registration, and you are being TA'ed and refuse it; you will be brought on trial based on evidence provided by the Thief carrying out the attempt. If you have performed a TA, you MUST send the log to the director, so it may be read, and verify it was done correctly. Once the TA has been validated, the theft is legal.
Note: Please refer to the Enhancer Charter for verification of which enhancers may be TA'ed and cannot be TA'ed within Satanic Black. Though we do find it necessary to set some limits to the maximum of what may be TA'ed. One enhancer, as referred to from the enhancer charter, may be TA'ed, if known to be carried on the target; and a maximum of one thousand [ 1,000 ] gold, if the target does not refer to their gold as "hidden" or "not carried" on the target. We do notice a lot of "X gold carried on person", "Gold not carried on person", claimed in the character's information statistics, so this would have to be one restriction that sometimes either puts a damper on the thief's intended loot. Otherwise, the target is game. |

Initiating A Theft Attempt
|
Before the TA can go down, there must be one line of IC Action proving that the target is in the room and active. Make sure that the actions are IC, and not OOC. |

After the Target has stated, request that they roll 2d20 for Percetion.
Two is needed to see, unless Enhancers are in effect. It will vary from more to less.
If Perception is failed, State HtS.
State your IC Attack, then roll 2d version of whatever your dice are.
If HtS is passed, declare Theft.
State the Time, Date, and the fact that they been robbed.
State that the Logs are off. |

Primary Perception for TA
|
After the opening TA statement has been scrolled, and the dice and enhancers have been stated, the thief notifies the target to roll 2d20 for perception. Perception will determine if the target can see the thief coming or if the thief isn't seen and gets away with it. |

Failed HTC- Fight
|
If the Thief rolls 2d version of his dice and doesn't reach HtS [ Charts located on the Dice page ], then the Thief must then offer the choice.. Fight, and Flee. If Fight is chosen, then the TA turns to an TASM.
Target: ((Fight))
Thief: ((State two SB Enhancers, and send the slips.))
Thief: ((Target: 28/150-^v^Thief: 0/150))
The target, and the thief both have 150 Hit Points. The thief starts at 0 and the target starts at however much damage the failed HtS attempt was at. For example if the HtS to rob the target was 32 and the thief only rolled a 28 the scorebored would look like.
Target: 28/150-^v^Thief: 0/150
The target makes the first attack on the thief, and then the thief makes their attack, and so forth. At the beginning of the TASM both victims are given the chance to select three other enhancers if they have them. There are no honor strikes in an TASM, and once it is over the thief states who won in it, the time, and that the logs are off. |

Failed HTC- Flee
|
The target simply posts an IC Action such as: "::Spots the thief, and walks out quickly before something can happen::" After posting that then leave the room as well so that the Online Host says "Target has left the room.". It simply ends there. Note: If the thief fails the TA, the thief MUST wait 24 hours to TA the same target again. There are no exceptions to this rule. |

After they have stated the usual, if they have a BG.. The BG is always asked to roll first.

If the BG passes perception, the Bodyguard may fight a TASM to 150 Hit Points with the Thief; or the Bodyguard may warn the Target. Then target can choose to "Fight, or Flee". |

Enhancers for TA's
|
Perception Enhancers: Make the Target able to sense better taking away -X from the Perception.
Steal Enhancers: Adds +X to the Thief's HtS rolled in a TA; Maximum of one may be used per TA.
Lock Enhancers: Adds to the HtS needed to TA the target; Maximum of one may be used in a TA.
Attack Enhancers: Adds +X amount damage from the Thief or the Target, and may be used by both should the TA go into a TASM. Maximum of 2 per person.
Defense Enhancers: Subtracts -X amount from an attack from the Target or Thief. Used only in case of TASM and may be used by both. Maximum of one per TA.
There's a maximum of Three Enhancer for TA's. Three total maximum for TASM's. |

Auto Theft
|
If the Target is booted after you have the IC lines needed, and you start the TA Scroll, the Target has five minutes to return. If the five minute timeframe has passed, and the Target has not returned, Auto Theft occurs. If they were booted, the Auto Theft won't be validated but they'll be forced to take the TA when they are there. If the Target won't take the TA, then Auto Theft will be validated. Also the Target cannot fake a boot, come back and order Enhancers, then take the TA. If they order Enhancers they cannot be used. This is easy to tell based on the date and time showing on the Enhancer slip, and the timestamp on the email when it was sent to the Target.
Once Auto Theft starts, you proceed just like you are doing a regular TA, aside for HtS Changes to Auto Theft. The final score will be for example "27/AT". State the Time, Date, and that the person has been robbed. IC Out then OH [ Online Host ] Out. |
