New Guidelines Effective 11-18-08

Story lines must have a purpose when they are sent in for payment from the Storyline Director of Satanic Black. It can not be casual roleplay. Some examples of role play with a purpose would be sirings, wedding, births, deaths; anything relating to that type of signifigance. Storyline pay wll be accepted by other forums; but may be subject to changes seen fit with how our pay system works when it comes to the storylines.

Payment goes by a scaled amount of words within a set range. Not per word, per post or per sentence. The chart below displays the word range and then next to it the avaliable payment.

1,500 - 3,000 3,000 xps
3,001 - 4,500 3,500 xps
4,501 - 6,000 4,000 xps
6,001 - 7,500 4,500 xps
7,501 - 10,000 5,000 xps
10,000 and up 7,000 xps

Storyline Submission
Please label all emails in this manner:

  • Header [ Subject ]

  • SB SL Log [ if not properly headed, SL director cannot assure it will be read. ]

  • Body of Email

  • Name of Players[ All Participating Members MUST Be Listed. Keep In Mind, The Storyline Log(s) Only Need to Be Submitted ONCE, So An Accurate Payment Can Be Given. ]

  • Log Number[ this simply makes sorting and counting lines a bit easier for the Storyline Director. ]

  • Type of RP:
    [long term, one time, individual, training]

  • Completed storyline logs must contain no less than 1,500 words. This does not mean go posting 1,500 words worth of posts of nothing but gibberish then begin roleplaying now that you made the log to the minimal word count requirements. We do review logs prior to awarding payments.

    • Send all logs in an email to the SL Director, OOC and OH clutter required to be omitted.
    Storyline Log Acceptablility

    Storyline logs submitted for SL payment must involve a purpose, not simply a few posts of meaningless jargon; and properly submitted for storyline payment will be paid as follows:



    Not Acceptable- Cyber [ sex RP ] logs, this has become a growing problem, we mean keep your god damned clothes on and your sexual business behind closed doors, we don't want it. Send anything suggestive or obviously leading to it and it will be rejected. Non-SL attempts.

    Penalties [ 3 strike rule ]
    OH clutter and OOC left in the log at the time of submission, this also pertains to the timestamps left on IMRP logs submitted.
    First Offense - Warning given to the storyline log submitter.
    Second Offense - Half of the total SL payment deducted.
    Third Offense - Total current SL payment forfeited to submitter.

    EFFECTIVE 02-09-09: Multiple forum storyline payments based on the same ONE Storyline log will not be accepted on your audit. This has become a growing problem and will not be tolerated in SB. You pick ONE forum for any one particular storyline log for payment. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.

    We enforce this rule due to an overwhelming problem that has been noticed and it should not be a problem in the first place.
