Special Rules
Enhancers Permitted in a Kidnap Attempt: ONE of each: Stealth, Perception [ For the Target ], Capture and Evade [ For the Target ]. NO Elementals will be permitted in a Kidnap Attempt. NO Exceptions.
Note: If the KA moves to a KASM [ Kidnap Attempt Slave Match ], combat enhancers must be restated for the KASM to be valid.
Stalking: The Kidnapper can not be active [IC] in the room. Unless the Kidnapper is pre stalking [ Unseen IC using enhancer's if they are being used as a stealth in the attempt. ]. The Kidnapper may be present up to 24 hours waiting for the target.
Bodyguards: One bodyguard can be used. The bodyguard must be stated in both the target and the bodyguard's profiles in order to be a valid bodyguard.
Registrations: A mock Kidnap Attempt [ KA ] must be sent in to the Director of Kidnappers. You need a registration in order to perform a legitimate Kidnap Attempt. Any member of SB found abusing their Kidnapper registration in any way, may face suspension and/or revocation of their registration, at the discretion of the Kidnapper Director if deemed necessary.
Slaves: Slaves, provided proof that these beings have been enslaved by another member of SB, cannot be KA'ed in SB. This group of SB is under legal ownership by another being prior to the potential KA, thus making a KA difficult to complete. Reason(s) being; if the Target perceives the Kidnapper in the attempt and chooses to fight would go to a KASM [ Kidnap Attempt Slave Match ]. This automatically interferes with the Slaver charter, hence a slave may not be owned by another person other than his/her master/mistress. Anyone found not complying with this rule will not only have their Kidnapper registration revoked, but may possibly stand trial in SB.
Time: One week maximum. Only two Release Matches may be attempted. First one to start no earlier than fourty eight [ 48 ] hours from time of capture. Second Release Match to follow fourty eight [ 48 ] hours after the initial Release Match was attempted.
Ransom: All ransom demands must be sent within twenty four [ 24 ] hours of the time of kidnapping; otherwise the ransom note will be considered null. The ransom note must be sent to the Director of Kidnappers first, before anyone else. The ransom demand letter must contain the name of the target captured, and the screen name. The Kidnapper's demands must also be clearly stated, along with the character name and screen name of who the ransom demand letter is to be sent to.
Contracts: A Kidnapper may be hired to do the bid, unless they decide to do the attempt themself. If you are being hired, a log of the hiring must be submitted and to include the reason for the KA contract.
The Attempt
[ IC lines of Target needed. You need 2 IC lines. OOC/Active MS and/or Combat lines by the target do NOT count. ]

[ Kidnapper SN, Dice, Contract Number ( if applicable or hired ), Enhancers, Enhancer registration number ]
[ Target state Dice, Enhancers, and Bodyguard(s). 5 minutes to state before Auto Capture. ]
[ Time [am/pm ] Zone and Date ]
Scroll the time countdown if the target does not comply and state right away. This prevents, in the log, any chances that the target was not granted five minutes to state. Once the five minute increment has been counted down of five minutes, from time stated at end of scroll, the target faces Auto Capture. This is if at anytime after the OOC scroll, that the target stops responding during the countdown. The same applies with the Kidnapper, if he/she leaves the room, whether punted offline or for any reason(s) otherwise.

If the target stated, prompt the target to roll 2d20 Perception, 2 needed to Spot Kidnapper [ If Perception or Stealth Enhancers are used, the Perception minimum may vary. If Stealth is used and no Perception Enhancer is used, the Perception roll will be a 4 instead of a 2. If Stealth and Perception is used, both will cancel the other out, leaving the standard Perception of 2 needed to be rolled. ]
Target Passes Perception on the Kidnapper

If the target chose to reveal [ Kidnapper is seen, but uncertain on the Kidnapper's intentions. ]
The Kidnapper rolls 1d of there legal forum dice. The target rolls 1d of their legal forum dice. If the Kidnapper's roll is higher, the KA proceeds. If the Target's roll is higher, the Kidnapper is seen, and the Targer may flee should the Target choose.

If the KA continues, moving to the HtC [ Hits to Capture ]. This is the same if the Target chooses to Fight, the KA continues.
Kidnapper posts attempt with Enhancers, stating the Target's SN and roll 2d of their dice
If the Kidnapper failed to meet the HtC, the Kidnapper prompts the Target to choose Fight or Flee.
If the Target chooses to Fight, the Target is given CS, where the Target counterattacks and rolls 2d of their legal SB dice. If the Target's CS meets the Kidnapper's HtC, the Target has captured the Kidnapper.

Failed CS moves to a SM, where HP is set to 150 and all damage is carried over. The Kidnapper has next turn. The Target and Kidnapper will need to restate Enhancers, if combat Enhancers are going to be used. Only three combat Enhancers may be used [ See the SM rules and terms sample, if you do not know how to do a SM. ]
If the Target flees, the Target must state it, RP out his/her escape and leave the room. The Target must OH out of the room after RPing out their exit.

The Kidnapper cannot kill the Target while the Target is in captivity, unless it is a stipulated part of an approved storyline. If the Kidnapper kills the Target, and it is not part of any sanctioned storyline, the Kidnapper can and will be punished by forum execution; provided adequate evidence of the crime is presented.
At anytime in SB, no one has to commit to anything of an adult graphic adult [ sexual ] nature, without the express consent of the mun. This also includes, but not limited to rape, molestation, mutilation/maiming/dismemberment the hostage.
The Kidnapper may hold the Target for ransom, but the ransom cannot be a bogus amount that would break the payor's bank. A maximum of five thousand [ 5,000 ] gold stipulation has been added. Kidnappers also may not hold a hostage for persay a council seat, weapons and/or artifacts of an elemental nature, or anything that would gain the Kidnapper a coerced title of power; also known as extortion [ which is illegal in SB and grounds for trial per suitable evidence provided. ], and WILL be punished accordingly.
